A b o u t
Located in Ohio, Karen provides photography for advertising agencies, corporations, design firms, educational institutions, magazines and small businesses. She has received numerous awards, honors and recognition from the Addys, ASMP, CSCA, Communicating Arts, Fuji Films, Graphis, and PDN. Karen is also a recognized award winning fine art photographer that has participated in numerous regional and national group exhibitions, and had her own solo exhibitions. Her photography is included into the Permanent Contemporary Arts Collection of The Cleveland Museum of Art, The Smithsonian, Cooper Hewitt National Museum of Design. Karen has published several books comprised of her fine art photographs.
Blending artistry, a bit of marketing with defined lighting ensures my clients stand out in a competitive marketplace. Each person and story has unique characteristics which are important to highlight. I create photographs in a relaxed manner so that my clients can be authentic and at ease. In this, the humanity of the story can be woven into the visuals. My entrepreneurial clients are busy professionals and they rely on me to do what I do and that's fine with me.

Since the age of nine I have been clicking away adapting to new cameras and tools, refining my creative process. The quest has remained the same, to capture the essential beauty in whatever my subject matter. When your life's work is the art you love to create, I believe you have found your bliss.
